When I look for a woman
A true model of Grace
I can only find one
In the whole human race.
There’s no higher title
A woman can hold
What a name to behold!
She answered the call
She said “yes” to God
You don’t hear her complaining
That her life was too hard
Imagine her struggles
Imagine the grief
Yet she never was bitter
As He hung with a thief
Try to imagine what you would do
If that was your son
Who was given to you
How would you hold up?
Would you curse?
Would you swear?
Would you try to strike back
At the men who were there?
Mary's example speaks volumes to me
The Mother of Jesus taught us how to be
Submissive and trusting
That God had a plan
Something so great
The salvation of man!
Thank you dear Mary
For your loving role
In bearing the Savior
To redeem my soul.
